7 Best Yoga Exercises to Reduce Damage from Sitting

Yoga has been practiced, at least according to written record since about 3000 BC, and in the last 5000 years, little has changed! Yoga is touted by many for its healing qualities, its strength and flexibility building and as a ticket to a longer lasting healthy life. You do not need to visit the local yoga studio, or buy some fancy outfit! Yoga can be done at your job, your home or the park. The most important issue is that you do SOMETHING!
Enjoy stretching, breathing and extending your healthy life! Learn and practice the following techniques: Downward-Facing Dog, Mountain Pose, Fish Pose, Cat & Cow Pose, Cobra Pose, Child’s Pose and Half Pigeon Pose. This entire series of videos will take about 18 minutes to go through the first few times, but once you understand each, it will only take about 10 minutes to improve your flexibility and health.

Sitting makes us fat! Not only due to the reduced movement, but the hormones released!
Sitting 6+ hours per day increases the likelihood of death by 40%, resulting in 15 year short lifespan than those who sit just 3 hours per day!
It is estimated that the average person sits for 9.3 hours per day!

Yoga can be done to many degrees, from the gentle to extreme and it is practice that will help you find balance.
